Ya! I know perhaps its the name .Certainly it is more nebulous than mnemonic,if you'll pardon the
poor pun
.

Ah.... Cloud Computing.. What’s that?

represents different way to architect and remotely manage computer resources.

Let me take a simple illustration. We Internet Geeks and data freaks, information,we require lots &
lots of information. we uses now a day’s different services, gadgets, devices in our daily chores. EMails,
USB pen drives, HDD & lots more...Now Imagine, what’s if on one fine day, your system
crashes! Your all data gone ,hard earned data in other storage devices get corrupts! & u say
“WTF!”.Similarly, Many small-big organizations require different platforms, various software to
simply do their work 'smartly'.

Is software shopping ,the next big department should be opened in all organizations across the
globe?

Here comes the new REVOLUTIONARY Technology, welcome to the World of Cloud Computing.

You already been using some aspects of cloud like-a some of u guys using GoogleDocs for storing
your documents and accessing it anywhere ,anytime. Cloud Computing Next Time Yours friends ask about it tell them in one line ,”It represents different way to architect and remotely manage computer resources."

Fundamental Technologies Cloud offers You."

e-Mail: You require just browser. Gmail,Ymail,Hotmail .. You can access your data easily
throughout the world.

Office Suites: Word Processor, Openoffice, MS Office like applications are readily available to
create ,modify and save options .You do not need to purchase licensed versions of any softwares .Just
Hire and Fire over Cloud. Zoho is perfect example of this.

File Sharing and Storage Services : Save and Send small to large files ,video, music etc to large
cloud storage available like Dropbox, SendSpace etc.

That’s the power of this technology.

What is Driving Cloud Computing?

• Easier for application vendors to reach new customers
• Lowest cost way of delivering applications to you.
• Ability to drive down data center operational costs

• In one word: economics
->Over the long term, absent of other barriers, economics always win!

What are the Barriers to Cloud Computing?

Customer Perspective
#1 Data Security
• Many customers don’t wish to trust their data to “the cloud”
• Data must be locally retained for regulatory reasons.

#2 Latency
• The cloud can be many milliseconds away
• Not suitable for real-time applications.

#3 Application Availability
• Cannot switch from existing legacy applications
• Equivalent cloud applications do not exist.

You need to have a good Internet connection to taste best fruits of Cloud Computing, with such
rigorous competition between Internet Service Providers, It gonna Consumer who gets best and
remain on Seventh Cloud.
